Recently, Dothan attorney David Hogg, invited PGH partner Matt Glover to record a section of Mr. Hogg’s podcast.  Matt was asked to talk about a recent lawsuit he filed on behalf of a client who made a claim pursuant to its insurance policy and the claim was denied.  Matt’s client, the insured, is a business that has been required to close due to the threat imposed by COVID-19.  Because of that closure, Matt’s client communicated with its insurance broker and extended a claim for contractual property, business interruption and other  damages due to the civil authority taken by the City of Tuscaloosa and ongoing property  damage caused by the COVID-19 agent.  The broker informed Matt’s client that there was no coverage for those claims but that the insured could pursue the matter.  Thereafter, Matt filed a complaint for declaratory judgment.  PGH is very appreciative of our ongoing and productive relationship with Mr. Hogg and his firm.  He and Matt have pursued numerous cases together to a successful conclusion.  Prince Glover Hayes expects you to find Matt’s podcast informative and enlightening.  If you feel you have been wrongfully  denied insurance benefits, please contact PGH at 205-345-1234 for a free consultation.
